Simple Stovetop Chocolate Pudding

  • 2 Oz sweet baking chocolate
  • 3 tsp cornstarch , or arrowroot powder
  • 4 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 Cup milk , or nondairy creamer, or soy milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Melt chocolate in a small pan. In a separate saucepan, place cornstarch, sugar, and part of the milk. On medium-low heat, stir until cornstarch and sugar dissolves. Add remainder of the milk. Cook over medium heat until warm. Stir in chocolate until mixture is thick and comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and stir. Chill before serving.
