Apple and Cheese Dessert Casserole

  • 1/2 Cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 Cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 Tbsp butter or margarine
  • 7 tart apples , peeled and thinly sliced
  • 3 Fl Oz water
  • 3 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 Cup cheddar cheese, grated
Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly. In a separate bowl, combine apples, water, and lemon juice and then transfer onto a well-greased 8 inch baking dish. Top with flour mixture. Bake at 350 ℉ for 30 to 35 minutes. Top with cheese. Bake for 5 additional minutes.
