Honey Granola Snack Bars

  • 4 Cup low fat granola cereal
  • 1 Cup mixed dried fruit
  • 3/4 Cup honey
  • 4 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 egg whites
In a large bowl, combine granola and dried fruit; mix well. In small saucepan, heat honey, oil and vanilla over medium heat, stirring until honey is dissolved. Pour honey mixture over granola; mix until well coated. Add egg whites; mix well. Spread mixture in lightly oiled 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake at 325 ℉ for 30-35 minutes, or until deep golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes. Cut into bars; cool bars completely on wire racks.
