Apple Crunch

  • 4 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 Cup tart apples , peeled and sliced
  • 2 Cup cornflake crumbs
  • 4 Tbsp flour
  • 4 Tbsp brown sugar, packed firmly
  • 2 Tbsp butter , softened
Preheat oven to 400 ℉. Combine first 3 ingredients and toss with apples. Place in a casserole dish. In a separate bowl, combine cornflakes, flour, and brown sugar. Blend in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle cornflake mixture over apples. Bake at 400 ℉ for 30 minutes, or until apples are tender. Serve warm.

Suggestion: Top with vanilla frozen yogurt or ice cream.
