Easy Date Bars

  • 1 eggs , beaten
  • 1/2 Cup sugar
  • 4 Fl Oz vegetable oil
  • 1 Cup dates , chopped
  • 1/4 Cup walnuts , finely chopped
  • 1/2 Cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 Tbsp powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 325 ℉. Mix first 5 ingredients in a bowl. Sift in next 3 ingredients, mixing thoroughly. Transfer batter to a well-greased 8x8 inch pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool. Cut into bars and dust with powdered sugar.
