Coconut-Walnut Cookies

  • 1 1/4 Lb refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 1 Cup chopped walnuts
  • 3/4 Cup sweetened flaked coconut
  • 2 Tbsp light brown sugar, packed firmly
Heat oven to 350 ℉. Crumble cookie dough into a medium bowl. Add walnuts, coconut, and brown sugar and mix well with an electric mixer.

Shape the dough into .75 inch balls and place then 2 inch apart on ungreased baking sheet.

Bake until golden brown, 10-13 minutes. Cool 1 minute on pan, then remove with a spatula to a wire rack to cool completely.

Makes about 2 cookies per serving.
