Spicy Lemon Beef Bites
Preparation: 20 min.
Cooking: 15 min.
Total: 35 min.
- 1 Lb lean boneless beef steak , cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
- 1 large lemons
- 4 Tbsp Dynasty sweet and sour sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 1/4 Tbsp soy vegetable oil , divided
- 1 tsp Dynasty Sriracha hot chili sauce
Coat beef with 1 tablespoon soy sauce; let stand 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, grate enough lemon peel to measure 1 teaspoon. Squeeze lemon to get 1 tablespoon juice. Combine sweet & sour sauce, cornstarch, remaining tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon water, lemon juice and lemon peel. Stir until cornstarch dissolves.
Heat large frying pan, preferably nonstick over high heat. Add 2 teaspoons oil; coat inside of pan. Add half the beef; stir-fry 2 minutes. Remove from pan. Heat remaining 2 teaspoons oil in same pan. Add remaining uncooked beef; stir-fry 2 minutes. Return all beef to pan. Add cornstarch mixture. Cook and stir until sauce thickens and boils. Remove from heat. Mix in Sriracha sauce.
Serve hot, with wooden picks, for appetizers, or with hot, cooked Dynasty Jasmine Rice for a main dish.
