Eggnog Coffee

  • 4 Fl Oz brandy
  • 3 Tbsp dark rum
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar, packed firmly
  • 3 tsp instant espresso powder , or instant coffee powder
  • 1 Quart eggnog
  • 4 Fl Oz frozen dessert topping
  • 7/8 pinch ground nutmeg
Combine first 4 ingredients in a pitcher until sugar and espresso powder dissolve. Stir in eggnog. Cover and refrigerate. (Can be prepared 1 day ahead.) Serve in cups with a dollop of topping, and sprinkled with a dash of nutmeg.
