Monkey Bread

  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 3/4 Cup sugar
  • 1/2 Cup unsalted butter , melted
  • 2 Lb refrigerated biscuits
  • 3/4 Cup raisins
  • 4 Tbsp chopped walnuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 ℉. Spray a tube pan with nonstick cooking spray. Mix cinnamon and 2/3 whole cup sugar sugar together in a bowl with a lid. Roll dough squares into a log shape and cut each into 4 pieces. Drop quarters into cinnamon mixture, a few at a time, and shake well to coat. Place half the coated rolls in prepared tube pan. Sprinkle with nuts and raisins, if desired. Stir remaining sugar into melted butter. Drizzle half the butter mixture over biscuits and repeat layers. Bake 40 minutes. Remove from oven and invert on a plate. Cool 5 minutes before removing the pan.
