Fry Bread

  • 12 Texas wheat rolls
  • 4 Fl Oz vegetable oil
  • 4 Tbsp powdered sugar
Place rolls 1.5 inch inches apart on a cookie sheet that has been coated with nonstick cooking spray. Spray one side of a sheet of plastic wrap and cover rolls. Let rise 3/2 to 2 hours, or until doubled in size. Stretch each roll to 5 inch before frying. Heat oil in a frying pan to 375 ℉. Fry rolls in hot oil 2-3 minutes per side, or until light brown. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
