Butterflake Rolls

  • 6 fat free white rolls , thawed but still cold
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbsp all purpose flour , optional
Place a roll in your hand. With scissors, snip roll into 5 or 6 slices, cutting nearly to the bottom. Spread butter into each slice and dust with flour, if desired. Place roll in a muffin tin cup coated with nonstick cooking spray. Repeat with remaining rolls. Cover with plastic wrap that has been coated with nonstick cooking spray. Let rise 3/2 to 2 hours, or until doubled in size. Preheat oven to 350 ℉. Remove plastic wrap from rolls and bake 15-20 minutes. Immediately place rolls on a cooling rack.
