Single Knot Rolls

Preparation:  10 min. Cooking: 15 min. Total: 25 min.

  • 6 Texas white rolls , thawed but still cold
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter , melted
Roll and stretch each roll into a 9 inch strand. Form into the shape of the number 9. Thread long end of the 9 under and through the loop to form a knot. Arrange on a baking sheet. Cover with plastic wrap that has been coated with nonstick cooking spray. Let rise 3/2 to 2 hours, or until doubled in size. Preheat oven to 350 ℉. Remove plastic wrap and bake 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Immediately place on a cooling rack. Brush with melted butter.
