Top Loin Steak Sandwich

  • 4 top sirloin steaks , about 4 oz each
  • 4 Kaiser rolls , or other sandwich buns
  • 4 Tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 4 Tbsp dill pickles , sliced
Season steaks with salt and pepper to taste. Place steaks between two sheets of wax paper and pound lightly with a mallet or other heavy flat object to flatten to .25 inch thickness. Heat a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Sear steaks 2-3 minutes per side, or until just cooked though. Transfer to rolls and serve with sauce and pickles.
