Spiced-up Brownies

  • 3/4 Cup cocoa powder
  • 4 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 Cup sugar
  • 4 eggs , slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 Cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp ground anise seed
  • 1/2 pinch cayenne pepper
Preheat the oven to 350 ℉, and grease a 13x9 inch pan. Mix the dry ingredients, and then add in the oil, eggs, and vanilla. Spread in the pan, and bake for 30 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
