Bratwurst

  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 clove garlics , crushed
  • 3 tsp onion , minced
  • 1 Lb bratwurst , fresh
  • 1 1/2 Cup beer
  • 2 Cup sauerkraut
Melt butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat. Saut'e garlic and onion 4-5 minutes until tender. Add bratwurst and 1/2 normal cup beer beer.

Cook until beer is evaporated, turning brats often. Add 1/2 normal cup beer beer and continue in same manner. Add remaining beer and continue cooking and turning sausage until beer is gone and sausage is well browned. Transfer bratwurst to platter. Add sauerkraut to skillet and increase heat to high. Stir 3-4 minutes until hot. Serve with bratwurst.
