German Turkey Ham Sandwiches

  • 4 Tbsp coarse grain mustard
  • 3 tsp dark brown sugar, packed firmly
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp dry mustard
  • 3 tsp prepared horseradish
  • 1 clove garlics , crushed
  • 4 Tbsp water
  • 4 turkey ham steaks , or ham steaks, about 4 oz each
  • 8 slice rye bread
Combine first 7 ingredients in a mixing bowl. Cover and set aside to let flavors meld. Place water and ham in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat. Simmer ham 5 minutes or until heated throughout. Drain ham and serve on bread with mustard mixture.
