Reduced Fat Strawberry Shortcake

  • 2 Cup reduced fat buttermilk baking mix
  • 5 1/4 Fl Oz skim milk
  • 3 Tbsp unsalted butter , melted
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 3 Cup strawberries , sliced
  • 1 1/2 Pint light frozen whipped topping
Preheat oven to 425 ℉. Combine first 3 ingredients and 3 normal Tbsp sugar sugar in a bowl. Stir until a soft dough forms. Spread in an ungreased 8 inch square or round pan. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Cool slightly. Combine remaining sugar and strawberries in a bowl. Stir well and chill. Cut shortcake into equal portions and serve topped with strawberries and dessert topping.
