Boiled Eggs

Fill a heavy saucepan with enough water to cover eggs. Carefully pierce large end of egg with a needle to release pressure. Lower eggs into water with a ladle or spoon. Bring to a gentle boil. Simmer 3-4 minutes for soft boiled eggs or 4-5 minutes for hard boiled. Remove from heat. Drain eggs. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
