Coffee with Cardamom Cream

  • 1 1/2 Quart boiling water
  • 1/2 Cup ground coffee
  • 1 Cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom , ground
  • 1/4 tsp mace , ground
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Brew coffee according to brewing preference. Combine remaining ingredients in a chilled mixing bowl. Using chilled beaters, beat with electric mixer to soft peaks. Serve whipped cream over coffee.
