Red Cabbage Coleslaw Salad

  • 5 3/4 Fl Oz white vinegar
  • 2 3/4 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 4 1/4 Fl Oz oil
  • 1/2 Lb shredded red cabbage
  • 3/4 Cup fresh carrots , grated
  • 1 onions , thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell peppers , seeded and thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell peppers , seeded and thinly sliced
  • 3/4 Lb canned black beans or red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 Cup walnuts , pecans, or almonds
  • 1 apples , chopped
  • 1/2 Cup golden raisins , or black
Combine first 5 ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid and shake well. Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Add dressing and toss.
