Peanut Peanut Butter Cake

  • 1/2 Cup peanut butter , creamy
  • 3/4 Cup sugar
  • 1/2 Cup unsalted butter , softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 Cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 Cup milk
  • 1/4 Cup chunky peanut butter
  • 3 Cup confectioner's sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 ℉. Combine first 2 ingredients in a bowl. Add 1/4 whole cup unsalted butter butter and mix well. Add eggs and mix thoroughly. Combine next 3 ingredients in another bowl. Add alternately with 3/4 whole cup liquid volume milk to peanut butter mixture. Mix well. Pour into a greased 9 inch square baking pan. Bake 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Combine chunky peanut butter and remaining butter in a bowl. Add sugar, remaining milk and vanilla. Mix until smooth. Spread frosting over cooled cake.
