George's Sweet Bread and Corn Pudding

  • 4 eggs , beaten
  • 1 Cup milk
  • 1 Lb canned creamed corn
  • 1/2 Cup sugar
  • 5 slice day old bread , crusts discarded, cut into .5 in. cubes
  • 3 tsp unsalted butter , softened
Preheat oven to 350 ℉. Combine eggs and milk in a large bowl. Stir in corn and sugar and mix thoroughly. Place bread in a buttered 9 inch square baking pan. Pour egg mixture over bread. Let stand 10 minutes for bread to soak. Dot with butter. Bake uncovered 50-60 minutes until a knife inserted near center comes out clean.
