Waffle Iron Cream Waffles

  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 Cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 Cup all purpose flour
  • 1 Cup sour cream
  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter , melted
Preheat waffle iron. Using an electric mixer, cream together eggs and sugar about 10 minutes, until mixture forms ribbons when beaters are lifted. Beat in salt. Sprinkle flour over surface and fold in flour using a rubber spatula. Fold in sour cream and butter. Let mixture stand 10 minutes before pouring into iron. Pour batter into iron, in batches, without overfilling. Follow manufacturer's directions for cooking times.
